                        Designed for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) cash grant recipients.  Case Managers meet with each family once a

week.  The WoRC program is administered in Butte-Silver Bow, Deer Lodge, Dillon and Anaconda.  In addition, we assist TANF and SNAP Clients in the SSI process.

                        Intended to assist Food Stamp Recipients find employment.  The Office of Public Assistance Case

Managers and Eligibility Workers Make referrals.  The SNAP Program is administered in Butte– Silver Bow county only.

Employment and Training

                      Anyone who walks in our door can be assisted through this Program.  Services toward employment is the goal of this

program.  WIA Adult program is administered in Butte-Silver Bow, Deer Lodge, Granite, Powell, and Jefferson (Whitehall) Counties.

Workforce Investment Act

                        Designed to assist individuals who are displaced by divorce, separation, and/or death or long-term unemployment of a

spouse.  State Displaced Homemaker is administered in Butte-Silver Bow, Deer Lodge, Granite, Powell, and Jefferson (Whitehall) Counties.

State Displaced Homemaker Program

                      Participants will be trained in areas to enhance their opportunities for improving their financial stability, employment

opportunities and/or enroll in educational activities.  Financial Literacy plays a large roll in this training. 

                        Participants will be put to work earning the prevailing entry level wage for the position.  Employment can last as little as 1 month

 or as long as 6 months.  Employers have the ability to train someone without having to expend money during the training process.
